When adding source material into my essay I used many techniques that we learned in class. I used Little Seagull to help format the way I introduced the material. I used the format of introducing the author and their credentials before the quote and setting it up instead of just placing it their with no explanation. This is different than past essays because I have unintentionally placed a quote in my writing as evidence and left it there with no real explanation or context. I also made sure in this essay to mix up how I presented the material, instead of strictly quotes I included paraphrasing and summary. 

 

This helped me before writing my essay because it helped me see what parts of each source connected and how I would integrate each main idea from the different sources together.
