I found one of the main sources I will be using on CQ Researcher. The source is titled “Computers and Medicine: Can consumers’ health records be kept private?” This source looks at the major impact that technology has on healthcare, this article was published in 2000 so It is a bit older but it still has good information about health records, privacy, and computers. The next source I will be using I found on ProQuest titled “Big Data in Medicine and Healthcare.” This source looks more at big data and how it has the highest potential in healthcare. I am not sure how helpful this will be but it has good information about Big Data in it.

I ended up changing the sources I will be using for this assignment. I choose to use two sources from the database ProQuest. The first source I will be using is “The Application of Big Data in Medicine: Current Implications and Future Directions” by Christopher Austin. The second source I am using is “Big Data and New Knowledge in Medicine: The Thinking, Training, and Tools Needed For a Learning Health System” by Harlem M. Krumholz.
